Greek participation in the London Art Biennale
It is a great honor to announce that the artist Stavros Ditsios has been selected to exhibit his work at the London Art Biennale from the 22nd until the 26th of May 2019
The London Art Biennale is a museum-quality award exhibition curated by Gagliardi Art & Partners in conjunction with the Chianciano Art Museum.
London is the global art capital and the London Art Biennale is where the contemporary art of the world is presented. Previous editions of the Biennale gathered artworks from approximately 50 different nations, showcasing artists who have exhibited in some of the most important museums in the world as well as emerging artists selected for their talent.
The famous London galleries, critics and collectors gather to see and appreciate artworks from all over the world, from Australia to the USA, from Norway to Italy with different cultures, styles, ideas and artistic expressions that represent the art world in its global entirety.
The London art Biennale has served as a stepping stone of international recognition for various important artists in the past. This year the event takes place on the King’s Road, Chelsea in a prominent and elegant Victorian setting.
The 2019 edition is honored by Lady Sophie Windsor who will graciously inaugurate the exhibition and open the vernissage on the 22nd May. Lady Sophie is a person of exceptional creativity, talent and artistic sensitivity who is the perfect ambassador of the Biennale.
